Paid Media Planner

What does the role look like? Challenging, rewarding and fun.

The Paid Media Planner will join a busy and expanding team in our award-winning marketing agency based in Cambridge, UK. This full-time position is perfect for someone looking to develop their paid media advertising skills working within a fast-paced environment in the life sciences industry.

As part of our service offering, we advise our clients on the best media outlets to reach a specific target audience and the most effective way to deliver their message when using online and offline paid promotions such as email, social media, display advertising and more.

As a member of our team, you will be responsible for planning and executing  paid media campaigns that achieve our client's objectives.

Key responsibilities: 

  • Provide administrative support to the Paid Media and PR teams
  • Carry out research and planning
  • Manage insertion orders and communication with multiple publishers
  • Collate and manage large amounts of data across multiple clients
  • Track all booked insertions to ensure placements are live and correct
  • Manage deadlines and materials for the submission of ad copy
  • Provide accurate and complete reporting information 
  • Ensure all publisher information is up to date and accessible for the whole team
  • Ad-hoc admin support as required

 

What skills are we looking for?

Accuracy and multi-tasking are crucial for this role and so we are looking for someone with a keen eye for detail and able to manage multiple deadlines.

Successful candidates will:

  • At least 3 years of experience working in a B2B marketing agency, with clients in the life science sector is preferred but not essential (e.g. relevant markets might include scientific research tools and services, diagnostics, drug discovery, healthcare, med-tech, pharmaceutical manufacturing, etc.)

  • Have a very strong eye for detail

  • Have exceptional organisational and time-management skills

  • Be skilled in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel

  • Experience with CRM systems preferred

  • Have good level written and spoken English

  • Be a confident team player

Location: Cambridge, UK (remote options also available, with periodic attendance in the office required)

Role type: Full time, permanent
