The BioStrata story (so far)

Thinking back, we’ve done an incredible amount in a short period of time. Scroll through the timeline below to review our progress so far.



BioStrata was founded to bring a novel “tactic-agnostic” approach to life science marketing focussed on outcomes rather than outputs. This year, we were also the first agency to offer inbound marketing services to the life science sector.



We became the first life HubSpot partner agency exclusively focused on serving the life science market.



We added our first US team member, while also expanding our team across the UK and Europe. This year we also adopted EOS, creating our new agency operating system to help facilitate growth.



We opened our US office, expanded our leadership team to include key team members outside of the founders and held our first “Evolution of Life Science Marketing” event in Cambridge (UK) with great success.



We were selected as the runner-up in the Cambridge Small Business of the Year awards. We also moved into our own dedicated office space, capable of holding 40+ staff and with brand new facilities (games area, lunch room etc.).



We won a Queen’s Award for International Trade and were invited to Buckingham Palace to attend the awards ceremony. We also launched our dedicated life science new distribution service, “Life Science Newswire”.



During the Covid-19 pandemic, we launched our “Scientists on Standby” initiative, which helped the UK government find enough lab scientists to support with diagnostic testing during the first months of the pandemic.



We continued to expand our US and UK teams and brought on a new COO to help spearhead our future growth. We were also a GHP Biotechnology Award Winner for being the “Leading Specialist in Life Science Marketing”.

We’re big on quality at BioStrata. “That’ll do” is just not in our vocabulary. We have an eye for detail and when something goes to the client, it’s not just good, it’s ridiculously good.... even if it takes additional work (without charge to the client) to get it right.
